Holistic Counselling
Hi, my name is Nadia. I’m a registered counsellor, group facilitator, mediator and the mother of five in a blended family.
I specialise in perinatal mental health, from pregnancy anxiety, miscarriage and infant loss, processing birth trauma, to postnatal depression, relationship problems when children arrive, and the challenges of blended families.
I also have a special interest in supporting parents of gender diverse or gender questioning children of all ages.
Parenting is hard, but it can be easier when you have the right support.
I know how challenging it is to cope. Pregnancy anxiety, birth trauma. The isolation of new motherhood. The overwhelm. The shame of feeling never good enough. Problems in your relationship. The constant, bone crushing exhaustion. I get it. I’ve been there.
Perhaps you’ve tried to talk to your GP or Child Health Nurse but felt dismissed or misunderstood? Perhaps you’ve been diagnosed with postnatal depression or anxiety, and are looking for support? Perhaps you’re tired of pretending everything is OK, when you know inside, it really isn’t. Perhaps your children are a bit older already, but you’re still struggling to find your way.
I can help. Whatever your situation, I will meet you where you are, just as you are, today. Together, we will find the way back to yourself.
My purpose is to bring awareness and compassionate understanding to your life, along with tools to help you connect with your inner self.
